Once I start reading the book, it exemplifies the complete history of the stock markets in India during 1988. The story introduces a character called Lalchand Gupta aka “Lala” that starts his thrilling journey through Dalal Street and illustrates the brief of the Indian stock market during the period of post-liberalization. The book covers all the tech books, scams and crashes seen by Lala and makes him understand the evolution of equity markets in India.

“Bulls, Bears and Other Beasts” Book Review – The Final Verdict

As per my understanding, this is one of the best books and must recommend for every person who is into dabbling in Indian stock markets. The medium to convert black money into the authorized money through the stock markets route is commendable. The author has successfully portrayed the message, how companies are advertised on solid fundamentals, and the stock prices are pumped distinctly to dump for no return. More than this, the book also intricate details about some very famous companies including SKS Microfinance, Maruti, MCX, TCS, etc. and glorify their rise and fall in the industry. Overall it’s a good book to read and helps you to think about the dark side of Trading/Investing through Lala’s experience.
